Brian Culbertson's Soulful Christmas with Audiences are guaranteed to be in the holiday spirit after experiencing BRIAN CULBERTSON’S A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS! In typical Brian Culbertson fashion, the show features uplifting and soulful performances of holiday favorites and tunes from Brian’s holiday album, A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS (in stores now)! In addition, Brian and his guests will play hits from their respective catalogues. “I am thrilled to be taking A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS on the road for the second year in a row,” said Culbertson. “I can’t wait to share the stage with this talented group of musicians to celebrate the Holiday season!” Brian Culbertson - There is a well-known and anticipated moment during every Brian Culbertson concert when the keyboardist discreetly asks the members of his band to turn their backs to the crowd. The leader then bows his head at the electric piano and plays a seductive theme. He offers the audience this intimate moment to kindle romance, hoping to send them home in a state of blissful anticipation with the thought, “Baby, it's on tonight.” Gerald Albright -Whether he is playing contemporary or straight-ahead jazz, Albright stands in a class all by himself. He is known for his swiftness on stage, his unique round sound which is percussive yet soulful. He has the ability to surprise the audience with something out of the ordinary. Albright gives his audience what they come for - a great show! Howard Hewett - According to one Rolling Stone writer, Howard Hewett is the premier vocalist in the post - Marvin Gaye era of romantic pop. Like Gaye, Hewett soars to new heights and seduces his audience. It is no wonder he's responsible for selling some ten million records; his voice is irresistible. Nick Colionne - The Chicago born, bred and still residing guitarist turned pro at 15, touring all over the world with rock bands and some of the greatest legends of R&B, from The Staples Singers to Curtis Mayfield. Nick Colionne launched his solo career in 1994 with "It's My Turn” which reached #13 on the national charts, and he hasn't looked back since.
Nick Colionne's sustained chart-topping Radio history combined with his incredible live performances have propelled him to the upper echelons of smooth jazz stardom. Most recently, he won the International Instrumental Artist of the Year Award by the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards; the 2006 winner was Trumpeter Chris Botti. Victoria White - New Jersey native, Victoria White, brings an eclectic vibe on music. Her musical style rings with elements of jazz, folk, and rock influence. This one woman band's self produced, written and performed album, "Home," comes alive with electric guitar laced ditties on life and love..heartache and fear. |
